My experience in Junin

I went to Junin in 2013 when I was 11 years old and I met Huancayo, Jauja, Ingenio, and Concepcion. It was the best trip with my family. I never have gone out to Lima. For that, that travel was awesome because I could know about other cultures and customs.

First, I visited the beautiful Main Square of Huancayo. It is fantastic because there is a Cathedral, fountain and many flowers of different colors. Then, I took a tour, where I went to the Lake of Paca, Ingenio, Convent of Santa Rosa to Ocopa and "Cerritos de la Libertad". To start, in the Lake of Paca in Jauja I be able to the lake by small boat and it was interesting because this place has a story about it. I also visited "Cerritos de la Libertad" where was a zoo, my brother and me were very happy and we could take a lot of photos. At the lunch, I was in Ingenio and I could choose my fish and I ate it. 
It was very different but a wonderful experience. That travel was incredible. 

Located in the central highlands of Peru, Junín is a rugged mountainous region with an abundance of narrow and deep canyons. The capital of Junín, called Huancayo is located approximately 200 miles (320 km’s) directly east of Lima and is easily accessible by road.

In Junin, you can take a tour, different kinds of tours. And there are many touristic places if you know more about their customs, traditions, and history. For example, Cerro de la Libertad is one of the favorite places to the tourist. Apart from the views, you can also find restaurants, art stalls, a small zoo, a pretty chapel and even a play area for children. 

A typical dish is "Papa a la Huancaina", but why? If in all of the restaurants and house in Peru cook it. But in Huancayo has a different form to prepare it. Besides the "Pachamanca" of 7 flavors is very popular. Finally, the trout with different dressing is famous because in Junin there are a many lakes and rivers where we can find trout.
